Transfer to auction is free if there is an active offer on the domain. That offer will be the base price of the auction listing. The seven day auction period will then be counted as starting from when the offer was made.

1. How do I sell my domain in Domainkauppa?

To sell domain names you must create a customer account at domainkauppa.

2. What does the service cost?

Creating a customer account and listing domains for sale is free. For extra services such as showcasing the domain, a fee will be charged. For completed sales Domainkauppa will deduct a commission according to the pricing table. For buyers, using the service is free.

3. How does Domainkauppa verify the ownership of a domain?

The seller parks their domain on Domainkauppas nameservers by changing their domains records to point to ns1.domainkauppa.fi and ns2.domainkauppa.fi. A sales listing page will automatically be created then you add the domain through our service. If adding the name servers is not possible, for example if the domain is in active use, the ownership will be verified manually.

4. How safe is transferring the sales amount and domain through Domainkauppa?

We guarantee 100% security. The buyer transfer the sales sum to one of Domainkauppas accounts and after we have verified the payment that the domain transfer is started. Only when the new domain ownership is verified, will Domainkauppa transfer the money to the seller.

5. How can i buy a domain?

You can buy a domain in various ways.
1) Buy now
If the domain has a set asking price, pay it and the domain is yours.
2) Make an offer
If the domain is sold based on offers or if you do not wish to pay the full asking price, you can make an offer. The seller might accept or decline your offer, make a counter-offer or transfer the domain to auction where the offer you made is a binding bottom bid on the auction. All offers and counteroffer are valid for seven days.
3) Auction
In auction the highest bid wins.
On the auction listing page you can see the bids on the listing and how much time the auction has left.
